We're familiar with Accor hotels. But this overnight stop with breakfast included was made particularly pleasant by the outstanding service from Chloé, who we assumed was the manager, although met at the desk. Just so pleasant and enthusiastic and helpful and then went our of her way to accompany us to the bar and serve welcome comp drinks our loyalty membership had offered online. Was effortlessly informative about the malt whisky I chose. Not just efficient but this person has learnt the golden value of smiles, a sense of humour and being interested in the client.

I visited this hotel in approx 1991 and 1999 - very little has changed since then. It is tired and showing its age. The breakfast was not great but we highlighted that when checking out and feedback was going to be passed on. However the bedroom seemed very clean and most of the staff were nice.

We had 2 nights b&b . The room was described as a classic double: everything was small. Only one chair and one bedside table, only 4 coat hangers and no coat hooks. Drawer space was nearly non-existant. The overall size of the room was not suitable for 2 adults. We went out for the day leaving the correct indicator for cleaning and returned to an unmade bed and dirty coffee cups. On the plus side, breakfast was very good, reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and attentive.
