Been going to this hotel for many years and nearly always enjoyed it. Unfortunately my husband and myself were extremely unhappy with the evening meal. The hotel are now doing deliveries and this seemed to take precident over the residents. My husband, myself and one other person were in the restaurant and we waited 45 minutes for soup and the inedible main course. Ii had mikhani curry which was so sweet I couldn't eat it. My husband had an ashet steak pie which looked like it was bought from spar and was burnt and only veg were peas. Andy was most apologetic and gave us a free bottle of prosecco. May I add the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us but doing carry outs should NEVER go before guests meals. Also the menu is not for the average person's pallets.

Restaurant staff need to be more aware when items run out not wait until guests tell them. Having to wait every day for food at breakfast was a pain.
