Room number ok, clean & mattress comfortable. General decor very tired, especially in the hallways. Unpleasant smell, kind of like air freshener trying to cover something nasty. Reception staff not very welcoming, not rude, just oddly disinterested

Check in employee was somewhat rude on Fri night arrival. Our privilege room was very comfortable but my sons next door room was cold (bedroom at end of corridor) and wallpaper peeling.. Not a problem for us as my son spend his spare time in our room. No iron in room but available on request.

Jurassic Park Couple!!!

Had an amazing weekend with my wife but unfortunately a couple next door a married couple were listening to what I think was Jurassic Park till late into the morning, I hope both of the boys had a goodnight but please be considerate of other guest. Apart from that we had an amazing weekend.

Decent Location, Facilities Could be Better

Location of hotel is decent and central to Ayr. Room is decent and basic, but no AirCon in room - I imagine it would get very warm in the summer. Able to open the window slightly to let in air. Facilities & Decor in room seemed a little dated and tired.

Don’t stay here if you need a good night’s sleep

2 rooms, 2 nights, barely any sleep. No toilet paper. Little black curly hairs on shower wall. Toilets in disgusting state. Front desk informed - couldn’t care less. Handed the manager’s business card and told to email him. Duly done. A week later no response. Was going to use this place as a base for work for me and my colleagues… no way I could put my colleagues through that! Be warned.
