Expensive hotel but poor attention to detail

It was a nice smart hotel but when we went for an evening meal, several items on the menu or wine list which we particularly wanted were unavailable. We were told it was a new wine list and we should ignore it and be told what was actually available. Also a long delay at breakfast to get some vegan milk, but not sure if it is usual for you to provide that. The worst thing was no toilet brushes provided in en suites, even on request. Very odd!

Won’t be staying again

Hotel room smelt like urine, there was an infestation of flies in the bathroom. Hotel looks dirty and generally smells like cigarette smoke. Not great at all. Friendly staff though.

The hotel is in a bit of a rundown state but has to be said it’s in a fantastic location, but what makes the hotel is the hard working staff especially Neil who couldn’t do enough for us in our stay.

Two rooms books, one room we couldn’t use due to the small of smoke, the whole hotel stank and they try to cover it up with different air fresheners which make it worse

Avoidable wd family

Average hotel. Rooms r rundown. D general feel is that of an Inn. Outside d hotel it is almost unsafe on weekends due to unruly mobs close to a large number of pubs especially after it gets dark. Look for options outside of this area if u r with family. Limited options for food.
