Ripped wall paper Very run down common areas of hotel Cracked window in bedroom Pool area very dirty and not modern at all Two tester fire alarms within ten minutes of eachother had to evacuate twice I understand safety but twice is a bit much

disappointed with this hotel as the room that we had was run down Stains on the carpets and marks on walls furniture was chipped and bird poo on all the windows this place needs some work done to it and hottube area was run down with chips on tiles and broken bits walls

The hotel online adverts were looking good the reviews seemed OK, but everything about the hotel is tired. Parking is difficult but cheap. Decorating is extremely poor, and needs updating as a matter of urgency. A privilege room with a sea view, well there was a view of the sea, but the noise of the bins being emptied at 0600 was not great. Bar expensive, so went down the local co-op and no food available after 2100, absolutely nothing so got a poor takeaway.

I was thinking staying at a well known hotel like Mercure i was gonna be in for a treat but i was in for a shock to say the least. First of all we walked in to the room to look out the window for a view looking out to the sea and all we seen amongst that was bird poo marks everywhere with a big crack on the side. Smart tv with no Netflix or Youtube. Toilet and bath tub had hairs in it, food was very overly priced for what you were getting, to the point i had to phone down and say can use change it as its burnt and rock solid to eat. Also a very uncomfortable night sleep. Wont be staying again!
