Only stayed one night, room was small but nice. Bed was quite comfortable and staff was very friendly. Wouldn't mind staying here again, hopefully get a bigger room next time however. Hotel was well maintained and very clean

The hotel was lovely, comfortable bed, clean room, lovely staff. Unfortunately had a bad experience with breakfast as I'd asked ahead of time and at breakfast for vegan breakfast and was given a pile of bacon on my plate, the waitress was apologetic and very nice, she took it away but returned with haggis! I did spoil the stay a bit as I felt sick and left hungry. Everything else was great.

first 2 days breakfast terrible. lady behind buffet throwing food on to the plate terrible attitude, bacon cold sausage brick hard toast thrown on top of food, had to ask for side plates had to ask for butter jam etc. had to ask for more hot water. very very poor. 3rd morning breakfast waitress service fresh cooked breakfast vast improvement

I had a lovely stay. The COVID arrangements were not over whelming but reassuring. As a single traveller the atmosphere is even more important - the staff may be the only people you speak to in any one day. Again the atmosphere was really friendly. I enjoyed my break and look forward to staying again.

Good hotel and friendly the only concern I now have is that I got a parking ticket while I was a reception for 12 minutes while I checked in.the car park was full so we then went over to the overflow carpark with a ticket given by reception.i have went through the appal procedure and hopefully will be resolved

My daughter and I shared a room for one night, we had an Itison voucher. On arrival the receptionist was helpful and welcoming, there were Covid procedures implemented and social distancing was well organised. The room was comfortable and clean, we had booked a twin and were given a family suite with an additional small twin bedroom. The pool and spa was closed due to current restrictions, disappointing but not unexpected. The only real issue I had was that we found an item of underwear by the bed which had obviously been left by the previous guest, I took it to reception to make housekeeping aware, the receptionist was suitably apologetic

Disgusted that 4 of the 6 rooms booked were Compact Doubles and not Classic Doubles as per the booking confirmation emails. Poor selection for Continental Breakfast. Only hot water was provided with tea bags or sachets of instant coffee. Cooked breakfast offering was the same each day. Shower screen was fixed such that it was difficult to reach the taps for the bath. No shower caps provided.
