Lovely hotel,however fixtures and fittings were a bit scruffy in the triple room. Scratched table and bathroom sink and taps.

The room was clean and adequately equipped. We would have liked a few more tea bags, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't a big problem. The main problem was the transport late evening. The service bus stops at 6.30 p.m. and the park and ride about 8 p.m. which meant we had to take a taxi. However this is obviously something which is outside your control given the location of the hotel. perhaps it should be pointed out to guests when booking.

Ive stayed here a few times in the past and its beginning to show the cracks now despite the ground floor refurb. Changed management who seem a bit 'lost'. Booking experience - lots of problems with some of my colleagues being unable to get through to 'Joel' who ? isnt on site? Staff. Confused, disorganised but their reception staff are welcoming. Rooms. Tired and need renovation, especially the bathrooms. Food. Mixed quality and quantity. Service - not enough staff for bigger events, at times confused but smiling!

Refurbishment of public areas was impressive, food was good but lack of staff caused frustration, especially on the Saturday evening when the President's drink reception was an embarrassing shambles

Lovely clean hotel. Visited after a day at Christmas markets. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was very clean beds were comfy. Had evening meal in restaurant which was also very good. No real complaints would definitely stay here again
