One night business trip and I always favour a city centre location. The Mercure fulfills all my needs. Rooms good, location great, close overnight parking.

I did enjoy my stay at this hotel and I liked the little snacks that was in the room. The shower and cleanliness was very good but I think the bed was a little too firm and not enough sugar was not in the room.

Location of the hotel is great, right in the city centre short walk from the train station. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Got to the room, it was okay. The bathroom was nice and clean, shower was very powerful and clean towels provided. The main area of the room needs some updating, the carpet was ripped and coming away from the door frames, one plug socket didn't work, walls needed a re paint, windows were dirty and the window over looked a roof which I didn't mind as I wasn't in the room all that much, however for the amount I paid for the room, it was over priced. Overall good, but needs some attention giving to the rooms.

Location is perfect, the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. However, the room condition was pretty bad. The carpet is worn out and stained. It is way too humid making the air feel unhealthy. The shower curtain holder was completely rusty. I would recommend installing a new PVC flooring. It is cheap, easy to install and would completely change the general condition.
