Bit of a let down.

Average stay overall. Room functional but dated: lacked a fridge which is standard in most hotels. Comfortable bed. Some issues we found: iron mark burned into carpet and paintwork chipped in many places; bathroom taps and shower curtain very old and dated. We stayed 2 nights and our room was never cleaned during our stay, leaving 2 rubbish bins for 2 days - not acceptable practice. Also the milk and tea and coffee were not replenished during our stay. Yes, I could have requested this but, quite frankly, I do not think I should have needed to as these things should be part of daily standard practice in a hotel. Location is excellent for central Glasgow and very close to Queen Street station which is good.

Room was clean, but carpet quite worn, and seals in bathroom starting to separate. Booked a takeaway breakfast for a 5 am start, but was not delivered. Shame as the staff in all other respects were excellent and very friendly
