Excellent location right in the centre of the city. The staff were very helpful. The receptionist offered to change my room if I wasn't happy with the outlook. (I wanted a room where you could see the sky and not just a brick wall.) Nice touch having a bag of crisps, biscuits and a Kit-Kat and good to have tea making facilities in the room. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, sheets nice quality. Only downside was the cramped room and very small bathroom. Barely enough space to open our cases. But overall, for the price, it was a good stay.

great hotel great staff, clean and comfortable, route to carpark needs attention as pathway covered in rubbish and broken glass, not the hotels rubbish but unsafe for anybody walking to the carpark

Had a celebration in the Mercure Hotel Glasgow and the staff went above and beyond to make the night a great one for all they are a credit to the hotel from reception,bar/restaurant,venue management and cleaning maintenance services everyone that works there do a grand job.

Certain things have improved in the location since last stay. Front doors locked late at night; but not always someone to let you in. Breakfast should in Scottish morning rolls and Lorne sausage. Hot items were buffet style (improvement) over the order. Once prompted room was properly cleaned for remainder of stay. Biggest laugh is having a security latch but nothing to latch with. Looking forward to upcoming renovation by owners.
