Staff were lovely from the second we arrived. Staff in the restaurant for breakfast were lovely too especially the lady that took our room number. Rooms were fantastic, extremely clean and spacious. Will definitely be going back again.

Secret Service Charge ... beware

Perception TripAdvisor review

Had some drinks at the Mecure. Staff very pleasant (Zoe B) but I was really disappointed when I got home (and looked at my bar receipts) to see that "Service Charge 10%" had been added on to every round of drinks I bought. The drinks were not brought to me - I went to the bar. Never told and not advertised. Very underhand and something I have never seen before. I will not be back. If I choose to tip, that's for me to decide .....
