The Grade II listed hotel is a grand Victorian landmark with period features, including stuccoes Regency frontage, original mirrors, chandeliers and a high-ceilinged ballroom for celebrations. An ideal stay for both families and couples, it brings some 19th century elegance to your stay in Brighton.

The Goulty is the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner and catch up with friends, while afternoon tea and cocktails can be enjoyed in the NH Bar. The Coast View Suite provides a sea view backdrop for weddings and private events of all types. The famous Bandstand is directly opposite the hotel and can be booked for weddings. Staff were very friendly. Hotel prices very reasonable, including the bar. Location was excellent. Only reason for my score is I was blocked in by another guest in the car park and unable to leave the venue. I needed to be back in London by 10am and having checked out at 8am was unable to leave until 9.30 when the guest was eventually tracked down and moved the vehicle. Staff did what they could to track down the guest, but this proved very difficult and made the morning highly stressful as I missed an important family event for my son.

Great location away from the crowds. Exceptionally clean public areas. Our sea view room was spotless, bathroom gorgeous. A big thank you to all the staff - professional, friendly and totally client focused from booking onwards, listened to all our needs. Breakfast plentiful, so much choice.

Stayed in Mews Rooms, felt like the poor relation of the hotel. Room very small, noisy and very basic. Slightly disappointing as this was bought as a gift.
