The breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly, the heritage building was interesting and right on the seafront, and convenient for shops and eating out. I thought the room was on the simple side - no air-con, fridge; and I wasn't able to claim All Accor points as I had expected as I had booked through a conference website. Other than that, very nice.

Bookings made through third‑party or conference websites are unfortunately not always eligible for points accrual under the ALL loyalty programme, and I’m sorry if this was unclear or disappointing at the time. Arrived early and checked in. Bags stored because advised room would not be ready until 3pm. I explained I had booked and paid for breakfast but would need to leave early. I was offered a breakfast bag to take with me - excellent. At 3pm room was not ready. Had to wait an hour for room to be prepared. Was offered complementary drink and eventually was offered an alternative room at 4pm. Room was clean and comfortable- windows were dirty. The following morning I went to collect the breakfast bags - the breakfast room staff were unaware of the request. I could see that the hotel was busy but overall was disappointed with the service.

This breakdown in internal communication is disappointing and understandably caused frustration. Please also accept my apologies that your room was not ready at the expected check‑in time and that you were required to wait an additional hour. While I’m glad the team offered a complimentary drink and an alternative room, I regret that this delay disrupted your plans. Your comment regarding the cleanliness of the windows has also been noted, as attention to detail in room presentation is important. We do understand that busy periods place pressure on operations, but this should never be at the expense of clear communication and smooth service delivery. Your feedback has been shared with our reception, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams so that coordination and follow‑through — particularly around agreed guest arrangements — can be improved. Breakfast room too crowded and toilet in our bedroom not working properly.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the condition of the bedroom and for it feeling small, worn, and shabby. I’m also sorry to learn that the breakfast area felt too crowded and that the toilet in your room was not functioning properly. Issues with essential facilities such as this are unacceptable, and I apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this caused during your stay.
