Very friendly reception staff, very good Covid measures in place. Comfy bed and sofa (we had a family room for the 2 of us). Food and drink room service if needed.

good value for money , bed linen clean and fresh, bathroom basically ok {But Toilet seat was totally unattached from toilet and underside had yellow staining on it} carpets were covered in loose carpet fluff, Double bed was two singles pushed together,ordered two breakfast only one was left outside door which we found on leaving !! , Would stay again But it would be good to think that house keeping had sorted above observations out , the toilet seat being most important

Hotel staff were all pleasant, friendly and helpful. Lots of signage, notices and hand cleanser for COVID restrictions which was good, although the floor signage does cause slight confusion. I think every floorboard in the hotel is creaky and the corridors and rooms need some modernising. That being said, the bed was very comfortable and a slept well throughout my stay.

I’ve never stayed in the mecure hotel before, but my stay was outstanding. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday, hotel as a whole was lovely, the food was much better than expected and the staff (two blonde ladies in particular) were amazing, always on hand always taking orders always running around making sure everyone was served and happy.

When we arrived to the Mercure, we had booked two classic rooms, only one of the rooms was a classic and the other had two single beds. The USB sockets in both rooms didnt work. The restaurant was closed, when i rang up the gentlemen on the phone told me it was open. The hotel had no beers on tap, or should i say they ran out of everything. Curry was awful, came out cold.

Excellent for us as it is ideally situated on outskirts of Swansea, & therefore not too far from plenty of local attractions & we were here to meet up with my wifes son who is at Swansea Uni,staff very welcoming ,lovely room & really cosy bar. HOWEVER extremely disappointed to learn today that my wife's son who when visiting us for a beer got a £60.00 ticket for parking in the hotel car park !
