The hotel was very clean, the serve yourself breakfast had a really good selection of food and drink and tasted and looked great. I would stay again. I was a little disappointed as the new that there were 2 of us staying for 2 nights but only milk, coffee tea, shampoo etc enough for 1 person for 1 night. If I return, I will take my own stuff just in case. But very good value. Oh! the beer was not any good, had bottled

Visited son and family in nearby Cottingham for a few days after Christmas. As usual stayed at Mercure Grange Park. Enjoyable stay but welcome not as warm or helpful as normal. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good buffet breakfast. Will come back for next visit to son.

Nice hotel, room and facilities very good. Bar, restaurant and lesiure staff pleasent, friendly and helpful. Menu limited but food enjoyable. We did not sleep well, due to extremely noisy guests in the next room. I twice rang (24 hr) reception between 1.15 am and 1.30am, however the phone was not answered. After banging on the wall to neighbours, things did not improve and it was about 3 am before we got any sleep. We informed reception of the situation as we checked out the next morning and got "sorry about that" as the only response. Also much of the info on yr website is out of date concerning covid restrictions at the hotel, and spa/ pool charges, times and facilities, but thankfully, staff were well informed and very helpful.

Nice return after 18 months of lockdown and minimal travel. Hotel staff were very friendly in all areas . Room was in the older part of the hotel and not as cosy as other rooms i have stayed in previously and was quite bland . However both evening meal and breakfast was of good quality and y. Fin who was serving in the restaurant must be commended for his politeness and efficiency. Leisure facility was quiet and pool was warmer than during my previous visit. Good value for money

We stayed here for 1 night as a couple. We stayed in a junior suite and although a little dated, very comfortable, spotless and great facilities. Staff where wonderful very friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay and I would use again

Slow Service and Broken Shower

Hotel room clean however shower was not working properly. Also checking in and checking out is so slow, on check out eventually agreed with staff just to send me the invoice as later in the morning.

Whenever we come to see our family in Hull this is where we hope to stay. After a long trip up from Hastings we know just what to expect. Familiar faces at reception,a comfortable room,a good evening meal,and of course a breakfast experience !! Not forgetting friendly staff.

Extremely pleasant stay - staff incredibly helpful. Hotel is very clean, rooms very comfortable, but the walls are paper thin. However, when I asked to change rooms Sally was very understanding and obliging - resulting in a peaceful night's sleep.

Pleased to be back at the Grange Park. Same warm welcome and service. We arrived early for check in having had a good journey from our home near Reading. The manager personally went to check with housekeeping to see if our room was ready so that we could use it immediately. It was. Room comfortable and warm. Breakfast buffet varied and tasty. Always stay at Grange Park when visiting son and family in nearby Cottingham and see no reason to change.

First I'd like to say that the staff were excellent. However, although the room looked amazing, the bathroom was freezing and with just one small towel rail, that initially wasn't on at all, did very little to warm it up. Also, the soft lighting in the bathroom again looked nice but was very unpractical, as you couldn't see well enough to put make up on and as there was no other mirror anywhere else in the room, this made it very difficult, a full length mirror and better lighting would really help, especially as we needed to see how we looked as we were there for a wedding reception and needed to dress up. Also, there was no towel holder or anywhere to put the shampoo etc near or in the shower! Also, we found The Fork restaurant's evening menu to be very expensive for what it was and wouldn't recommend it, however, the breakfast was excellent!

Had booked a month earlier but my wife had a fall and was unable to travel, when I rang to cancel (thinking I would lose my money) Jon was very helpful and offered to move it forward 4 weeks. Gratefully accepted, wife now a lot better we arrived, helpful check in, great room, restaurant, food and service very good, breakfast's also good (well looked after by Linda)

Pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were helpful. Food and service excellent. Location quiet and handy for city and Beverley. Room was spacious,clean and had all the necessary amenities I needed.
