Currently here! On arrival the outside of the hotel was in need of repair. Reception was manned by a very friendly lady, check in was smooth, walked to the furthest point of the hotel only to find the key card didn’t work, so walked all the way back to reception with bags, it was swiftly resolved but after a long day I didn’t need the work back! In the room where do I start, large bright Privilege room (so paid more), comfy bed and that is where the good ends. Room is tired with chipped and scratched off paint on headboard, walls grubby, picture in the wall falling apart, window latch broken (worrying when you are travelling alone), blown wood on unit housing coffee machine and curtain hanging off the hooks. Hairs in the bath and behind the door along with looked like mould. Mould on window surrounds and the tattiest pillow cover I have ever seen. Didn’t eat in Restaurant for evening meal and I haven’t experienced breakfast yet I won’t be booking again

Whilst the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was lovely I was extremely disappointment to wake up with 3 bite marks clearly from bed bugs. It's a shame that this tarnished an otherwise lovely stay.

Room was really nice, clean and well looked after. Hotel is a little tired but no different from many others. Really nice pool, breakfast was great, accommodating staff. Comfortable beds. Lovely stay
