Hotel is tired and shabby. Not 4* standard at all. Staff were lovely but I will not return to the hotel unless it is completely refurbished!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to nice canal walks and a Costa Coffee right by the canal. Food ok. Bit of a green bean overkill, but otherwise as a coach party of nearly 50 it was a good effort. As a vegetarian my only choice was mushroom risotto 2 nights in a row....but it was tasty! Good size room and enormous bed. Needed binoculars to find my husband. Good place to stay.

We only stayed overnight after a day out in Chester. It is right next to the park and ride so easy to get to and very handy for the city centre. The room was lovely , the staff are very helpful and being dog friendly our little pooch was also made very welcome.

Very disappointing stay. The price point was low but still not worth it. Dated and tatty soon. A far from warm welcome and a breakfast with very little food left.
