The University of Bolton Stadium, home to the Bolton Wanderers is just 1.5 miles away.

Staff very friendly, but cannot recommend hotel... although paid up front with no cancellation possible we left early. The hotel needs upgrading.. breakfast was a shambles. Do it yourself toast and coffee, cold fried eggs on plate.. must have ben there at least 30 mins... ordered poached egg, took 30 mins to arrive. Please ditch the jam and marmalade dispensing machine.

Hot room, No shower and No tv

Room very hot on arrival, if curtains had been shut maybe some of the heat would have been kept out TV remote did not work, manager swapped it, but tv had no sound. We gave up trying to watch at this point. Shower was a dribble, leaving my wife with a head full of shampoo which had to be rinsed in the sink. Reception said that perhaps everyone else was showering too. Surely that is normal pre-breakfast.

I stayed at this Hotel for a couple of nights and had no issues. I/We were looked after very well and the staff were very polite and professional throughout our stay. We spent a lot of time in the bar (Fire Fighters Re-union!!!) and again the bar staff were very attentive, Asha in particular looked after us very well. If I was in the area and needed accommodation, I'd be happy to use this Hotel again. Cheers.

I have never paid £11.55 for a glass of wine before even in a swanky bar in the centre of Leeds nor in London. The food was booked as the £22.00 3 course meal deal through the company. The mash was inedible and chicken was dry and the gravy was like water. Food choice was really limited so much so that me and the gentleman from the same course did not even pick a dessert. Food on the course on the first day was tasteless. As a woman having to stay on their own the TV would have been an asset as I was not going to sit downstairs all evening.
