We arrived to find a rip in our quilt cover which we reported to the front desk they said they would tell the handover team in the morning, we then asked about late check out to be told to ring back at 7am we did to then be told to ring back at 8am which we did to then be told quite rudely that if we wanted the late check out we would have to take £20 to the front desk straight away

Not great for dogs - dog friendly hotel?

So booked this hotel for the night as dogs are allowed and as we had a birthday to go to. Us and two other rooms was booked and both the classic double rooms. The room we was shoved in was a small double bed, no dog bowls or anything for dogs (Adding bowls in or something for dogs if you are a dog friendly hotel would be a nice finish for the price of it) The other two rooms who did not bring dogs, had a huge bed and lovely rooms, even though we all paid the same base price, for the extra they charge for pets, I think it is an absolute joke. Breakfast was nice but having to walk through the whole hotel to get this as dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room was a bit annoying - Do not be dog friendly if there are strict rules on dogs in your hotel!

The water system was noisy every time next door ran a tap/toilet.. Observations: The person who attached the soap/shampoo dispenser must have been left handed so when I tried to use it the soap spilled over on to the floor not the bath. Try it and you will see what I mean. Overall it was better than the hotel I paid more for. I didn't use any services but could have been offered a luggage porter.
