The hotel is well located, offers a very good breakfast experience, has friendly staff but has poor WiFi service in the rooms and has very few rooms with walk in showers. Also the shower in the bath tub is fixed on the wall which is awkward. The Wifi in the breakfast room/restaurant is excellent and one enjoys the views of Piccadilly Gardens. The building is probably from the sixties and rooms are gradually been renovated which is good.

We stayed overnight foran event on the sunday. Really easy to drop our bags off on friday so we could go off and explore.

Good location, but hotel room very disappointing and looked very dated. We were upgraded to a Privelage double, but other than a bottle of water and coffee machine, I can’t see the difference. The air conditioning was not working, although a portable heater was provided. The bed was ok but sheets didn't fit properly. Three light bulbs were not working. The walls were paper thin so you can hear all next door conversation. As previously mentioned, I am not actually sure how this hotel is in the “ALL Accor” group, I wish I hadn’t wasted my loyalty points staying there. The parking was good, although charged at £20.00 for 24 hours.

Hotel is old, rundown. Rooms are tiny, underwhelming, definitely below the standards of even a budget hotel. Extremely bad soundproofing - noise from adjoining rooms could be heard. Dirty windows, bathrooms. Late check-in beyond the regular check in times, even though early check-in was requested. WiFi is pathetic and did not work in rooms. Rooms did not have drinking water, glasses, telephone or a mini fridge. Breakfast was mediocre, the only positive was the serving staff, who were accommodating.

There was a differnce between what was booked and what was available at the property, I booked an accessible room but none available in the hotel which was also undergoing refurbishment. Fire alarm went off, Fire Brigade came and then lifts out of action for ages. No extention lead available for medical equipment.
