I booked the Mercure through two separate bookings, one directly through the hotel, and another through the BuyaGift website. When booking with the hotel, I asked if I could be allocated the same room for my entire stay despite the two bookings. The man said that this would be no problem at all. I received a warm, friendly and professional welcome from the moment I arrived, and nothing was too much trouble throughout my stay.
