Would consider this hotel below average but not poor. I stayed for one night in November for a work trip. The room was extremely dusty and not as clean as I would expect. The room needed freshening up with a fresh coat of paint, everything was scuffed. The reception staff were not very friendly or welcoming either. The lobby / bar area is nice. Location is great.

I made the room reservation via email, Alex Davies was very helpful in ensuring my stay went well and the team worked very hard to allow me to check-in as I had arrangements in the evening. The room was clean and was excellent for the 2 nights I spent there. I very thankful to Alex for providing great customer service throughout my stay, will visit again ! :)

Stayed here in the past a few times on business. I won’t stay again until there’s been some money spent on it. It’s quite rundown now, from the rooms, toilets and everything really. If you have to stay here, try and get a room that isn’t over the tram stop, it was past 1am when they finally stopped or I fell asleep. They are very noisy.
