The bed was comfortable and the view was about the only best things about my stay! On my second night, I was on the toilet and I heard my door opened, another couple had been given my key number to access my room! I was shocked!!! At first I got over it, but since the incident I’ve become more and more wound up! What if I had been sleeping? What If I’d of been out? And all of my possessions stolen? Then moving forward I had problems with my key because the receptionists had cancelled the room number or something? So I wasn’t able to access my room afterwards or navigate the lift! All in all it was a shambles!! But hey ho, I was given 1 FREE DRINK! LOL! Pisstake! Never staying here again!

Smooth check in although I had payed online and was then asked to pay again! All staff where very professional, nice and helpful. Waited a long time for the lift everytine we had to use them.

My first time back here post lockdown As this is my go to hotel for Manchester Check in was a bit clumbersome First room we had , shower broken and needed a good clean 2nd room was ok , air con didn’t work Window hardly opens Bar staff very friendly and customer focused And apologised for not having brandy glssses as hotel won’t purchase Overall stall very good , place needs a deep clean and a little tlc

Check in and interactions with reception were a bit slow and the room needs a refresh (very tired decor) restaurant staff were very friendly

The interior of the room looks old and under maintained. Some of the handles are broken and the room had a weird (old) smell. The window is also dirty, and it was partially opened so I could hear outside noises. Only the location is great.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it’s centrally located. Staff were courteous and nice.the breakfast was excellent. The WiFi didn’t work well. It was an overall nice experience and I would recommend this hotel.

Room was clean but bathroom looked very worn and unappealing to use such as the marked bath and faded floor tiles . Room was small , television hand set didn’t work properly and the table lights kept flickering and turning themselves off so seemed dodgy ! I had a city view room and I did get that but don’t expect to sit on your bed or a chair to see it as the window is high. I paid £136 for the room only and feel it’s wasn’t good value compared to better rooms in different hotels close by .

The hotel was well located near the train station and the Arndale centre so no need for public transport. We were on the 14th floor with a lovely view. Room was lovely with comfortable twin beds and clean bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.

With regards to the room: TV didn’t work, apparently fire alarm went off in our room? Carpets really dirty, walls dirty, no windows, no air circulation. Very disappointed by room. Great location, centre of Manchester with everything on your door step, easy to get too via car! Breakfast was amazing

My only two criticisms are that the beds are very hard and the standard / premium rooms all (in my experience so far) only have shower above bath. The only shower cubicle is the accessible rooms - which do not have the features of the premium room. However, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. The restaurant is big and the food lovely (if a little pricey). Due to its location, there are also lots of places to eat out.

Good hotel, well located for central Manchester and the railway station. Unfortunately there was not an upgrade available, but it was explained that due to the number of guests, it was not possible. This was perfectly understandable and it is always made clear that an upgrade is subject to availability.

We had to cancel due to illness and as I'd booked direct I was told on the phone I could get a refund and to email my details. My emails have gone unanswered, as a result I've no idea what the hotel is actually like so can't comment.

Thai wasn’t my first stay and it won’t be my last. All the staff are professional and friendly. High level of security . The room was excellent and for a Friday night in central Manchester free from noise .
