Stayed one night at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel for an awards event. Our rooms were basic but clean and functional. The snacks and drinks in the bar were very good and served promptly by friendly staff. The event staff were very professional and the food service was also very good. Cheryl on Reception was very polite and helpful with our various questions. Good customer service is not present in a lot of cases these days, but Cheryl and the staff at this hotel should be commended for their great customer service.

Clean and functional rooms, along with tasty snacks and drinks served promptly by friendly staff, can definitely enhance your stay. The staff in the hotel were lovely and I enjoyed the personal touches which made me feel welcome. However there were issues with the room and what I was told was an upgraded room. Particularly with mould around the window and on the secondary glazing.

I stayed over for 1 night as I was attending a family event. Upon arrival I was greeted by Cheryl. She was the most professional, welcoming & gracious receptionist I've ever come across. She was so polite & nothing was too much trouble for her. She helped me with my parking & even ordered my taxi for me to the family event. The hotel itself is quite nice. The reception is welcoming & the room was nice too. Clean, comfy & a nice big tv (which I like). I'd definitely stay here again & Cheryl is a credit to the team. Thank you so much for your help & warm welcome.

Greeted at breakfast this morning with the friendliest service from maisie. i requested to have my eggs a certain way and she saw that it was fine just as i had asked. the restaurant was spotless. it was a very nice breakfast. the views really added to the experience
