Staff wonderful.Room dusty and a little tired. Remote control for tv was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Still won’t stop us returning.

Checked in for 2 nights, left after 1. I stayed her 6 years ago and it was ok, but it’s only changed for the worse. Reception has moved to a pop up pod so that the bar can be extended. I had a room in the mews which I’d heartily recommend that you avoid. The place hasn’t seen any investment for years. It’s completely neglected, dated, flimsy and resting on its very nice exterior. There was no wifi AT ALL, shampoo & bath gel stuck on the wall at head height - superbly out of reach if you’re using the bath, the radiators tick all the time, the windows wouldn’t open after years of paint - although there was that much wood crumbled away if doubt that the single glazing would stay in the frame if they did open. Walls are thin. Then it started to rain and it sounded like there was a plane engine on the roof. It was hideous. I stayed in a shed. On another note - breakfast was lovely! Good Luck.

Staying for wedding. Staff friendly, room servicing poor, had to ask for towels and tea ingredients, hot water erratic. Wouldn’t recommend it as wedding venue.

The Grange is not posh but excellent.😊 We have stayed without complaint many times. We are welcome, a lovely clean room every time, great food without bouquets, welcome drink as well. Competitively priced with a lovely ancient tree. Go somewhere else and regret it
