We attended a wedding here yesterday and stayed overnight. What a beautiful place! The grounds are amazing, the perfect backdrop for photos! The meal was gorgeous! Infact, all the food we had (yesterday, last night and at breakfast this morning) was outstanding. Our room was lovely even though it was up a couple of flights of stairs (that was fun after a few drinks lol!) But that wouldn't deter us from going back! And lastly the staff - they are all brilliant at their jobs, very attentive, always have a smile on their faces & generally seem very content. I find this is a sign of a good work "family" dynamic! Thank you for a fantastic day & overnight stay! We thoroughly enjoyed every bit!

Critter ridden nightmare!! It’s not the first time I’ve experienced this and will definitely NOT be booking this hotel again! Fortunately hotel was fully booked so didn’t stay and will not return!! Felt sorry for the young receptionist who was told by her manager to check the room out with me. She did offer to get housekeeping to hoover and change the sheets but knew this wouldn’t make any difference. They were even crawling up the curtains. Such a shame as the building is in a lovely settling. Booked the Bristol Filton Travel Lodge instead and couldn’t get away quick enough.

I was pleased with the friendly and helpful staff.It was great to have a telephone connected to a taxi service at reception too. Breakfast croissants were fresh & tasty but the English breakfast & eggs were tasteless, could be better quality. Overall a great stay, close to train station & the shopping centre. My small Maltese dog was happy too, great to have a dog friendly hotel.
