Visited hotel for a conference. The hotel grounds became flooded and we were stranded with 12 colleagues. No help, no empathy, no care. Unhelpful. People trying to get home no budgets for hotel nights. Hotel not prepared to offer a blanket. People having to sleep in cars. Apparently this was a regular thing having flooded the week before with heavy rainfall. Poor service, not my problem attitude

My third overnight stay here. Was warm welcoming and lovely and clean Choose the Grange as it accepts dogs and has great grounds to exercise them. Appreciated the dog treats as well

Very pleasant hotel with good food and clean bedrooms. Friendly staff. one of my big complaints in hotels is that if you stay more than one night the reception staff invariably put one night only on the key card. This infuriates me.

Absolutely incredible hotel, my partner proposed to me in the hotel room and the staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. A beautiful swan display was on the bed with little hearts. Staff checked in regular to ensure we were happy. The food was incredible, all you can eat breakfast had such a large variety, dinner and tea time menus were nicely varied to suit every palette. The food I cannot rate anymore highly than I already do. The whole staff and manager were just so helpful, polite and respectful. Drinks including alcoholic beverages were surprisingly cheap. Room service is quick and the standard of the food is just as amazing as the restaurant! The views of the grounds and surrounding areas are just breath taking. The hotel is very clean and staff clean areas quickly and efficiently so the hotel always looks spotless. Rooms have a television, a desk with a mirror and a chair for those lovely ladies who like to put their make up on in comfort. Shampoos, conditioners and body wash are available in the rooms with added extras in the bathroom. Very helpful if you forget something last minute. Bath robes and slippers in the privilege rooms were a beautiful touch. This hotel will cater to your every need and they will do it with a smile. I will be coming back in the future as I’ve had the best memories made here thanks to the staff and manager making everything perfect for my surprise engagement. Thank you!
