first time to make your Bowden hall hotel. I visit Gloucester every month. And this was a nice find at reasonable price. it's the oldest style hotel. And not just cubicles, it's been fashioned into something with. individuality. for the exception of the bar, where I struggled to find some one to serve me, (How about a bell.?) at 6:00 PM, everybody was wonderful from check in to the restaurant.

Enjoyed our three night Secret Escape to Bowden Hall. Very helpful and friendly staff, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Evening meals were our sort of food and with me being a veggie there were options for me. Breakfast also very good. Drink prices rather high imo. Lovely peaceful setting and hotel building pretty. Yes, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a nice overnight stay. We found the staff extremely helpful. We had a room upgrade which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. We had a pre-booked meal in the evening with friends. There were 13 of us. The food was good and breakfast the following morning was very good. We had intended to have a sandwich for lunch when we arrived but decided against it when we saw the price. Overall it was a nice overnight stay.

All the staff were very polite & helpful. The bed in our room was very comfortable. However, at tree blocked any light coming from the window which was disappointing.

Everyone was very professional and gave us a warm welcome. The cast of Allo Allo, were brilliant. We laughed for the whole weekend. The afternoon tea, had a good selection of sandwiches and cakes which we enjoyed. The 3 course meal in the evening was nicely presented and was lovely. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of choice and the entertainment continued. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This was booked by my employers and I viewed the hotel onling and considered booking for myself and my partner in January. Having stayed, I won't be back.

The safety and well-being of our guests is our absolute highest priority. Food safety is something we take incredibly seriously, and your comment regarding the undercooked sausages is deeply concerning. I have immediately shared this feedback with our head chef and kitchen management team to initiate an urgent review of our cooking and temperature logging procedures I also sincerely apologize that your ground-floor room lacked privacy due to the nearby outdoor seating, and that the room temperature and dated decor fell short of your expectations. It is incredibly disappointing to learn that this experience has caused you to reconsider your plans to visit us with your partner in January. Thank you again for leaving a review. Good breakfast, other food ordered was decidedly below average, with stale salad, and overcooked fish/meat.

However, I am very sorry to learn that the other meals you ordered fell decidedly below average. Serving overcooked fish and meat, along with a stale salad, is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the high culinary standards we aim for.
