Lovely staff, 1st nights meal was poor, 2nd night much better, there was a hole in our duvet cover not 4 star standard but to be fair they asked if we wanted to changed

Room was not quite ready but was offered a complementary drink. Room was large, did think hotel would be more run down but overall very nice and tidy. Place was busy with people in the restaurant and pods. Evening meal was very nice. Had a good nights sleep very quiet apart from hum of traffic, but hotel is situated by M 5 which is convenient. Breakfast was very nice advertised as a buffet but was table service. Lots of continental choice lovely coffee. I can see it is a great wedding venue. If bathrooms and rooms were all updated and more choice at breakfast, they would be charging a fortune. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough.

Around 15min away from city centre, this lovely property is very quiet and peaceful. For us, it was a last min spontaneous trip to Gloucester (to visit Moomin at the museum the next day), so we checked in here. Kai at reception was very helpful. Thumbs up 👍🏼. Lobby, nice. Check in and check out, swift. Room, dated but clean and comfortable. Beds, very comfortable. We had a good sleep. Dinner, it was alright. Not bad but not great. Lovely garden around the hotel. No elevator, so those with heavy luggage’s be aware. Not a deal breaker. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes. Do we recommend? Also a Yes. Area of improvement? Clean the fans you provide to clients. Very dusty. Ours was very dusty.
