Around 15min away from city centre, this lovely property is very quiet and peaceful. For us, it was a last min spontaneous trip to Gloucester (to visit Moomin at the museum the next day), so we checked in here. Kai at reception was very helpful. Thumbs up 👍🏼. Lobby, nice. Check in and check out, swift. Room, dated but clean and comfortable. Beds, very comfortable. We had a good sleep. Dinner, it was alright. Not bad but not great. Lovely garden around the hotel. No elevator, so those with heavy luggage’s be aware. Not a deal breaker. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes. Do we recommend? Also a Yes. Area of improvement? Clean the fans you provide to clients. Very dusty. Ours was very dusty.

We had afternoon tea in one of the pods and I have to say it was a fabulous afternoon. The pods are such a cool way to spend time with friends and family! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the cakes and the staff were lovely. Very happy with our visit.

This was a free stay and meal as an anniversary gift after getting married at the hotel. Not only was the stay free but the staff went the extra mile and made the room romantic leaving gifts and a card in the hotel room for us. The location is excellent in beautiful grounds and a short drive from Gloucester.
