Avoid this hotel – I have only experienced the restaurant and thankfully not stayed overnight. We had an afternoon tea booked and the staff were rude and unhelpful on arrival and the food was the worst I have ever experienced. How can you go wrong with something as simple as a few sandwiches and cake? Following this awful afternoon, I was advised to complain to the General Manager. It is no wonder this hotel receives so many poor reviews as the management team fail to read their emails or follow up on any of their offers of recompense. Good customer service comes from the top and it is clear that the quality of food and staff are the worst I have ever experienced. I am not sure who has awarded 4 stars, but I would definitely give this hotel a miss
