When I arrived at the hotel, the room temperature was 15C. This did not change after I raised the thermostat and fan to maximum level. After I called, a technician came with a little electric heater. He knew that the system was defective and nothing could be done. Not appropriate for a room that was advertised at EUR179 per night on the day I was there. If I have to stay overnight, I would stay at the standard CDG Airport IBIS. It cannot be worse the the supposedly higher ranked Ibis Styles.

I found the wait at the reception desk on arrival rather long. The staff did their best with a card/computer system that seemed complicated. The system in the dining room is not sufficiently clearly explained, i.e: which part is self service and which part not. Also the billing for food. Should it be on the room tab or immediately paid at another queue in the reception. I received a call at 10.30pm having just gone to sleep - my dinner bill had not been paid could I come down to reception and pay now! I received a bill for I don’t know what having fully paid up and left the hotel, I didn’t have the complicated software to download or the desire to look at it! Also, an idea would be to have a written indication in the lifts of how they function i.e: using the room card. The room was perfect!
