Cottages-Loire TripAdvisor review

Comfortable bed, all the facilities that are normal for an ibis styles. Don’t expect kettle or fridge in room. Remarkably quiet for airport hotel. Helpful staff. Sufficient breakfast . Deliveroo type dinners are handy but there is also a Marks &Spencer near by where you can heat a ready meal. Basic dinner also available at hotel but booking was essential when we were there.

Great location. Room is clean . Basic facilities but fine for a sleep before a flight. The ac control was a bit noisy and difficult to cool the room . Breakfast is basic in choices .

It was expected for a quick overnight stay. I was disappointed with the broken shower parts and the bamboo cutlery for breakfast.

Below is what I have mentioned in my review on Tripadvisor. This hotel is far too big for the facilities they offer. There are just two elevators for 10 floors. I was located on the 9th floor and when going down in the morning, with the elevator packed with people, it stopped on every floor where people were waiting to go down. Terrible. Same for breakfast where everyone that wanted to have breakfast needed to go collect items in a far too small area, with limited choice. The first day the queue for coffee was too long to wait and the second day the coffee machines were not working at all. As a Accor member I get a drink at arrival and I can usually choose all kind of drinks. In this hotel, there are restrictions in what you can use for your voucher. This is the first Accor hotel I have been in that restricts choices. Childish. Airco not working, thin towels, etc. Next time I will look for other hotel.

I had an overnight connecting flight at CDG. Hotel very easy to reach. Accommodation plenty sufficient. Breakfast no fancy but covering all needs. Bonus: very calm, which was welcome after long haul flights.

Awful experience. The room was so cramped you had to side step and squeeze your way around. The lighting was such poor quality that torches were needed to find anything even with all lights on. The bathroom was peculiarly arranged with only half a shower screen in red glass, giving a weird dingy light and letting water all over when showering. The biggest problem however was that they had turned off the air con. We had booked and paid for a room with air con so were not at all happy to be stuck in a boiling hot stuffy room. The reception told us (at midnight when we went to ask how to work it as it had not kicked in) a story about customers saying it was too cold so they turned it off for the whole building, and they gave us a noisy, smelly, ineffective fan. We were so tired after this awful night that the last day of our holiday was ruined and as it did not cool down sufficiently to sleep until 3.30am we missed the breakfast we had also paid for.

My experience during my stay was good. Everyone was professional. However before my arrival at the hotel.... I needed to print some covid related documents for my departure. I tried calling the hotel to ask if this would be possible at the hotel. Someone answered but didn't speak. I could hear him talking to a guest. The guest departed and he than seemed to be working on his computer but he never spoke to me. I kept saying hello but I never received a response and after ten minutes I hung up the call. I tried calling another three times but no one ever answered. I sent an email to the advertised email address for this hotel about the same matter but i have never received a response. This was very frustrating as I wasn't sure what my options would be if I couldn't print the documents at the hotel and I had no access to another printer. It turned out that there is an facility to print documents

I booked a room for the day during my 8 hours layover. I thought it was going to be better than a lounge. It was just OK, I Didn't get any perk despite of my Diamond status, but more problematic, I got called in the middle of the day and asked to check out immediately, obviously a mistake... I don't think the employees are used to it yet.
