Great place to stay as within easy walking distance to lots of smaller museums as well as the museum district. Staff knowledgeable on where to for dinner meals. Room excellent and very quiet. Breakfadt well worth the extra money as cheaper thsn going out. Recommend for people with no children as rooms just big enough fot two. Thanks

The hotel is well connected with center of Amsterdam. It's in the quiet area. Museums and market is nearby. The breakfast is very good, and the staff is helpful, nice and professional. Hotel rooms could use some makeover.

We decided to come to Amsterdam for a short break and chose the Ibis Styles Amsterdam City due to its location, which was near to the major galleries, but in a quieter neighbourhood away from the busy city centre. The room itself was quite small, but adequate for our needs. The only thing missing was a small fridge in the room which would have been good for chilling water etc. The hotel staff were so nice and friendly and accommodated every request we had. The breakfast was again quite basic, but freshly prepared and there was a decent variety of options available. As we had a later flight the staff kindly let us leave our bags after check-out so we could take advantage of our last few hours in the city. There was also a water dispenser in the lobby which was great for filling up bottles in the morning before heading out and about. All in all a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for a pleasant stay!
