We really liked the proximity to Albert Park which offered some nice, quiet walks. Good size rooms. Plentiful breakfast. We also dined at the hotel main restaurant, and it was OK. Club lounge had limited, though nice selection of refreshments. Staff were friendly and helpful.

When arrived was given a room too close to the lift..unpleasant constant noise from lift n people traffic.. The front desk lady was very helpful.. Got me a better room after much effort ..very appreciative of her service.

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and provided excellent service. The food was good. I did find the room very clean, and presentable but they are old. I did book and had a confirmation for a king room, but instead was allocated a room with two queen beds. The shower was over the bath which I do struggle with and it was impossible to turn the shower on without getting wet. The shower had individual taps rather than a mixer. The bath seemed quite narrow and wall mounted the soap dish as in the wrong place, especially for anyone slightly larger. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom so the mirror steamed up. The lighting above the mirror also cast shadows and wasn’t great when applying makeup. The temperature in the hallway was very warm. As soon as you got off the elevator or out of the room, the heat was quite stifling. Overall, it was a good stay.
