Disappointing. On checking into room, found that the cold tap in the shower didn't work so too hot to use. Requested help and they promised to send someone. 20min later went down to reception and had to repack and move rooms. One lift broken, others our floor buttons didn't work??? Dinner at restaurant was poor value for money. $55 for a steak only with no carbs or veges.

I have PTSD and am unable to use lifts, which doesn't sound much of a problem but it really is. Most hotel chains have a real issue with clients using stairs and I'm usually escorted to our room through kitchens or similar by cross looking staff. My lovely husband scoured Auckland asking for help so he could take me for an anniversary treat, but only the brilliant Pullmans came to his rescue. The wonderful young lady in reception was brilliant (sorry I didn't get her name - dark hair and glasses). She was on reception when we checked in and was just so professional, sweet and kind . For once in a long time I felt like a proper visitor and not a nuisance. It was fantastic. The rest of the stay was just as good. The room was perfect, a choice of tasty and well presented meals and amazing kitchen staff. In fact all the staff we dealt with from room service to bar staff were welcoming and super professional. We used the swimming pool, spa and sauna while we were there and we were very happy with the facilities. We also had a 90 minute hot stone massage which was incredibly and something we will definitely do again. The Pullmans is somewhere we would recommend and will definitely be our go to place when we stay in Auckland next.

Friendly staff when greeted, first time staying in a hotel with 3 kids, one being a newborn. Valet were friendly & helpful would have been good if they explained more how it all worked felt like we were blocking the drive for people behind us as we had lots of items to unload. Check in was easy, staff were friendly, nicw touch with the kiwis for the kids. Weren’t aware how to use the lifts with having to swipe the card so took a while for us. Room was nice bit dated. The freezer on fridge didnt work as i wanted to freeze icepacks to use next day for my breast milk to take home in cooler bag. Room was very cold over night we had aircon/heating turned right to warmer but was still cold. Room service was great, yummy food both dinner and breakfast. Great you offer crib this was super helpful. Appreciated the cake as a surprise for my daughters birthday. Pool was great for kids and awesome there were pool noodles for them.
