Good hotel, very noisy room

thankfully I only stayed one night at this hotel! The staff, service and food were all first rate and the room was well appointed, but all this was let down by the noise. I was on the second floor facing the street and the traffic noise was as audible as if I had the window open. On top of this, the brake-noise of the trains/trams as they stopped at the station meant that sleep that night was not uninterrupted

The receptionist was helpful and welcoming, a good start to any stay. Our room was very clean with a good sized bathroom. The large bed was comfortable. The fridge containing milk and water was a good size for a hotel room and the kettle was handy for making warm drinks. Check out was quick and easy. We have stayed at this hotel before and would do so again.

Location very good for guest traveling with public transport (PT). Good PT connections to city, university and hospitals. Very helpful and friendly staff, good service.

overall good stay. staff was friendly. food was good. only comment is the small fridge in the room is not working.
