The room was clean and tidy however it was a bit dated. There are rust/marks on the bath which didn't give the bathroom that clean feeling - even though it was! The shower was awful, luke-warm water only when the shower was set to extreme cold. Not ideal. Quick check-in at reception and good late service at the bar. For a 1 night stay, it was adequate, but don't quite feel I got value for money.

Room was ok but too hot. Breakfast on first morning was an absolute shambles. We arrived half an hour before the end of service to find one poor waiter having to cope with a roomful of rowdy children and aggressive adults. We sat down for 10 minutes without being acknowledged (there was no buffet so had to wait to order). Eventually we headed to reception to complain where we were met with sympathy (as there was already another guest there complaining about noise from the children running up and down the corridors during the night) but little action. Eventually we placed an order for food and drink but after another 15 minute wait one plate of food arrived but no drinks or food for my partner. After that we gave up and abandoned breakfast. We were offered a refund for breakfast but it couldn't be actioned over the weekend (surely there must have been someone in charge who could have authorized it? Or don't you trust your staff?). They said they would leave a note for the general manager to do the refund but as yet no response. We were offered a drink from the bar but at 11am that doesn't seem appropriate. Breakfast the next morning was ok but the ambience of the dining area is dreadful. My guess is that they are understaffed. The waiters we did come across were pleasant bu harassed.

First time stay in this Hotel but extremely satisfied with the standard, service ,cleanliness and Room. Lovely and quiet, First class in our opinion.We are going to go back asap to spend a couple of days in Chester ect. Great Location.

Issue with the original room as the heating was broken and was on full blast and too hot. The lady behind reception was great and she organise another room within a few mins. Just the second bed wasnt a double bed and wasnt as nice. But we were really grateful for change in room and heating couldnt be fix there and then. Staff were brilliant so friendly

Came away for shopping trip. After having a lovely meal out after great recommendation by receptionist came back to nice room, But we then heard a function on, which is fine but not finishing till 1am! Then to cap it all had air con or generators outside window all night whirring Knackered in morning. So much for a relaxing break away. Breakfast wasn’t great as looked like had been there a while. The shining light of hotel was Michaela on front desk who was lovely and did soften the awful night. As we understand functions (music)should finish at 12am and some kind of sound proofing. Shame as was good location for Cheshire Oaks.

Great hotel. Watch out for the sting though.

I had booked a room prior to a business trip to Ireland. Upon arriving, I asked if I could add a second night for when I returned from Dublin. When I did return at 02.30 in the morning I asked if I could have food. I was told just bar snacks. The next morning I see that the literature in my room states that sandwiches are available 24/7. When I check out I'm then charged over £25 more than I paid for my first night booked through the app.

I stayed with my wife and young family of 5 children and was helped immensely by the staff. Breakfast and food was of a good standard. Bed very comfy. Although one down side was the WIFI wasn't great and didn't really work the further away from the door you went in room 305 and 306. Thanks and kind regards, Michael.

Staff where great, hotel is really dated. We had to change rooms as the first smelt of smoke but the second felt dirty and unclean. I opted to pay a little extra over Premier Inn I thought same quality but make the most of my Accor membership but I was disappointed.

Arrived around 10:30pm, was checked in by a friendly receptionist didn’t catch her name. She apologised for no upgrade due to the hotel being full (after complaining about the stay the same receptionist was very understanding and gave me a full refund in the morning). Tried to go to sleep around 11 but there was a loud disco which I could hear word for word and feel the bass through headboard. I gave until 00:10, it still hadn’t stopped so phoned reception, They informed me it would be finishing shortly... it didn’t. At 00:45 after trying to phone down around 5 more times to know answer!! I got dressed and went down myself. The night porter passed me on to the night manager, she asked my room number and said ‘you can hear it from there?’ I wouldn’t have been talking to her if I couldn’t! She said she had asked them to turn it down, I was close to just leaving and finding another hotel near by, but was to tired. I went back to bed and the disco eventually finished just after 1, I then did manage to get some sleep.

The lady on check in when I arrived was amazing, really helpful..... The gent on the bar / reception, again really nice..... The chap who kept calling me to leave my room when I had agreed a late check in... Not so much.... then to question my honestly on it.... JUST RUDE. The room was ok.... But my god, The Bath. It had a hole, it was really rusty..... It was shocking....

Mould all around the bath. Mould around the bath panel/floor. Mould on the shower screen. Mould behind the bath tap fitting. Mould around the sink sealant. Heating did not work. Receptionist said it didn't come on till 1800!!! Breakfast poor quality. Service poor. No spoons in fruit, yogurt and meusli bowls. Milk for the cereals had obviosly been out since start of service as it was at room temperature. Orange juice container was empty. Had to ask for it to be refilled - it was with a carton of warm orange juice. Had to ask for the empty coffee flask to be refilled. It was but with bitter tasting coffee. Fried eggs had hard yolks. Scrambled eggs watery. Didn't look like breakfast had been cooked to order as the waiter was suggesting. One of the toasters was broken. Buffet had been cleared away some time earlier and waiter asked us to give him our order whilst we stood beside the empty buffet looking at the only menu card. Waiter cleaned down the buffet hotplate with a cleaning product and managed to spray it over the adjacent pastries. They weren't changed. Croissant type things were stale. Poor standards throughout. Breakfast very poor value for money.

The room was lovely clean, the pool lovely clean and great none restricted times. But the room was cold and when I spoke to reception about it they gave me a portable heater. Which did what the room but not a great solution with a 1 year old who is very mobile. She did touch the heater but fortunately didn’t burn herself. I had to turn this off as when the heater reached temperature it would spark and male a bright light. I couldn’t keep this on over night as feared it would set on fire. So the room was cold. Also as a consequence of not having any heating the towels we used to shower where till wet the morning after, resulted in having to use wet towels to shower with. Also breakfast the tea and coffee was lukewarm and not a lot of items available.

Ok but disappointed with breakfast and the rudeness of the memmber of staff on breakfast. There was nothing left and all he said was it wasn't his fault they had had more than expected. Rooms had been decorated since our last stay and the main bedroom area was very nice that's more than can be said for bathroom there was black mold in between the tiles .

Firstly you have to consider the price paid for the room over the three nights I stayed including Christmas Eve Christmas day and Boxing Day. I was advised before hand that there were limited restaurant and leisure facilities. I was not advised that there was no room service until I was in the room, a bit late notice for this I thought ~~~ however I do respect that others have their holidays as well. The room was cold and I needed to use the small electric heater which was provided. The hotel and facilities considering the price was fine. This is my third "over Christmas" stay. The location is good for my purpose. Reception staff were as ever friendly and polite. I'm sure I will book with you again in 2020. My thanks to all the staff who worked over the holiday period. :-)

The room is spacious and comfortable but the rooM definitely needs updating especially the bathroom . The grout around the tiles were brown, the toilet roll holder was broken and the bottom of the shower screen was brown and yellow. Also the changing rooms for the swimming pool definitely need redecorating . As a whole the whole place needs an update.
