The room was nice, and the location lovely. There was an abundance of parking. Unfortunately, one day into a weekend stay, the water stopped working. I wasn’t given a real explanation, and then when I asked again in the evening, I was told it would not be fixed until Monday and to go to the health club or reception to use facilities. This is not an adequate response, and I am very disappointed that no compensation was offered, and no real apology for one of the key components to any hotel stay. I would stay again as the hotel was nice as I said and convenient, but the water issue and it’s response, as well as the lack of even any compensation offered has left a very sour taste in my mouth.
Ideal airport parking and accommodation.

I cancelled the room due to no water in Hotel and they offered me a bucket to put in the room.

The windows in the room were held tightly closed by two pieces of inserted wallpaper. The 2nd night after going to the room, the toilet wouldn't flush, the taps in the sink and the shower didn't work. I called reception to be told "I thought everyone knew", when I replied no, the response emaa "on your side of the hotel , theres a problem so no water until tomorrow, goodnight". No sanitation seems to be an essential service. No other room or hotel was offered/proposed. I'm quite disgusted. I will be demanding a refund.

The first room offered had a damp problem, the wall was covered in mould and dripping with water, the window had been left open and radiator on to disguise the awful smell. The second room was ok but in the morning we discovered that there was no running water in the taps, toilet, shower or bath. We were told that the building we were in didn’t have water, we were given a card to another room so that we could wash and use the toilet. It was so humiliating walking through reception and the breakfast room with our bags at 9am. When we reached the third room we had to wait in the corridor for 20 minutes as it was being cleaned, again a humiliating and embarrassing experience. Once in, we discovered that this room also had damp issues and mould all over the ceiling. We had our showers and could not wait to vacate the hotel. The whole stay was worse than you could imagine and I think that the hotel is an absolute disgrace. The decor is beyond tired and feels oppressive and has left myself and my husband extremely upset. This was meant to be a special weekend for the two of us but we have been let down by not even having the basic amenities such as water. I would highly recommend that this hotel is investigated as I would hate to think of anyone else having the same experience.
