Overall good and clean hotel - my only complains are about parking (because you are forced to use an external valet parking company) and lack of restaurants at a walking distance.

Good hotel close to the airport

We had a good stay at Novotel Hangar. Check-in was smooth and attendant was very friendly and professional. We were with our 2 kids and the room was big enough to accomodate all of us, we didn't feel scrammed in a small place. The hotel offers 24/7 room delivery, which was great. Food was tasty and aplenty (try the club sandwich!). We just faced a little situation when we entered our room as we noticed the shower hadn't be cleaned. There were lots of hair on the floor of the shower. We don't mind to clean one or two but this was way too much. The hotel was very responsive and changed us to another room immediately. No problem there, except that I noticed the hygiene measures were different from the other room. In the first room, despite the hair, everything was clean and under plastic wrap. In the second room, the glass cup in the bathroom and other amenities were not under plastic wrap. Not that I mind but it shows a different level of sanitization/hygiene between rooms (as a former maid myself, I do notice this kind of things :) Nevertheless, staff was professional, place was good and clean (little incident apart). Good breakfast; the woman doing the eggs/tapioca is so lovely. We will return should the opportunity arise.

Good stay, problems on receipts

I never received the receipt for the minifridge items, which causes a gap on my expense report to the company. I even called 2x asking for it to be resent but to no avail. I love the hotel for the service and quality it provides, however there is always a problem with the minifridge receipt.

Normally stay at this hotel when on business at SSA. However the hotel felt dated and lacked ambience and atmosphere. Worked in the reception bar area, as I do not like working in hotel rooms. Asked to use my complementary drink voucher (after going to the reception to ask as no one works in the bar area even though you have a full bar there!) and requested a red wine. I was told that i must go to the restaurant on the first floor to order. That would have meant I would need to leave my computer and work alone and do that. In the end, the receptionist said she will arrange. 15 minutes later a girl came down with white wine. I told her I requested red wine. She returned another 15 minutes later with only red wine as a choice. I declined as the brand was awful. I requested a Capriroska instead. When that came down it was the worst one I have ever tasted so I left it! If you have an area there for people to work and an opportunity to make money, then do so. You could serve tea and coffee and light snacks and make money!

Excellent facility very near to the Airport. If you have work outside the city then this hotel is the best as you do not need to negotiate the city traffic. Also, the staff are very helpful. The breakfast and restaurant was also good.

Fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night

I arrived at the hotel to sleep 4 hours, inbetween connections and didn't manage to sleep 1 hour. The fire alarm kept going off and the night receptionist couldn't turn it off. Ridiculous.

Shady pricing scheme and overall bad service

As someone who professionally travels every week, I was very surprised by the pricing scheme from Novotel: charging extra for my spouse in the same room, not having breakfast included in the stay and not explicitly mentioning that breakfast was not included. The overall price was not expensive, so I wouldn't have a problem paying for all of this - but the way it was charged makes it more difficult to my company to file expenses and for me to pick the right hotel. Had I known that breakfast was not included and that my spouse would be charged separately, I would have chosen a different hotel. After this experience, I'm not intending to use any Accor hotel ever again, unless I have no other alternative. Also waiting times at reception were quite long.

Best Room Always! Very Clean and and quiet, Food can be bettter but its fine. Location to the ariport is good, but litlle far from Salvador! Parking has a good valet service. Air conditioning woeks very well.

A good place to stay because is near the airport and the price of the cab until the hotel is around 10 dollars but the price of the things inside the room are very very expensives they should charge a little less for sure.

teciaborges Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

I like everything, especially the service! My sugestion is that the reception maybe have more persons for a better attendance. I intent come back in another trips. The location is near to the airport and the building installations are excellents.
