I paid extra for cycling package stated in Acc reservation but Mercure says there's no such package. Accor and Mercure just ignore my queries and no follow up on this. This is disappointing with Accor which normally i get a reply.

Conveniently located at the middle of Ortigas Center within walking distance to SM Megamall, Podium, Shangrila Crossings mall, ADB, Robinsons Galleria, PSE, UA&P. Clean spacious room. Sufficient buffet breakfast. Courteous and attentive frontdesk, restaurant and concierge staff. HDMI port to connect laptop to LED TV wasnt functioning. Other than that, my stay was enjoyable.

Wifi /internet speed both in the room and within the hotel is really slow. Download of email although slow is still workable but uploading files for work on email is almost impossible for files sizes more than 0.5 MB. A/C in the room is too cold and it is hardly possible to adjust on the controller and even switching it off does not help. Luckily the hotel's technician was able to assist by shutting off some of the vanes on the A/C duct outlet to reduce the cold air into the room.

Amazing Concierge / Bell team. Good location. Aside from that nothing good. Aircond thermostat in the room doesn't function. I had 2 rooms side-by-side, 1 is set at 25C and feels 16C where as the otherr that is set at 16C feels 25C. Hotel doesn't have a GM. Currently, doesnt have a FOM. Doesn't reply to emails promptly.

The rooms are super nice and comfy, towels and linens are fresh and crisp. Check-in/out was quick and the room service was amazing and as well as the food from the restaurant, we didn’t need to get out of our room to figure what we want to eat or if we needed anything because the hotel was able to provide it.

The room is small but good enough for a business stay. Things work fine except the following: 1. The thermostat is not working so even turning the temperature to 28 degC, it is still 15 degC, so it is freezing inside the room. 2. Some condensate from the air grille above the door, dripping into my head a few times when I walk in and out of the room.

There wasn't any problem during my stay, except that, maybe I expected too much. Since my preferred hotel was fully booked that day, I decided to try Mercure since it was a short stay. I was kind of expecting the same level of service as Novotel, using the app. So I checked in online and thought I'd be able to make use of the early check-in privilege, but I wasn't able to. I'm just not sure how they qualify their guests for welcome drinks, but the guy beside me who was also checking in was able to get a voucher, but I didn't. Maybe because I got the cheapest room? I hope not. But I'd definitely go back to Mercure for short stays.

Although I was a touch disappointed to see almost all new staff this stay, it's still a very nice hotel with decent facilities. I invariably get upgraded to a bigger room which was nice, and the breakfast is very good. This last visit I discovered the gym which also is good. I wish it were open 24 hours, however, and can't really see why it isn't as it's 100% self serv.

Reception was dry when we checked in. He is not in the mood to face customers. No bellman was available to bring up our luggage it was all on our own effort. Room was dusty and aircon was not working properly. Kitchen closes early so does not address guests who need to eat at a later time.
