Dance Dragons U TripAdvisor review

Looking for a hotel for 25+ people is challenging but Chris and his team made it very easy and accessible to do so. We couldn’t have had a better stay, such a good location and every staff member we spoke to was so helpful. We couldn’t recommend the hotel and staff more and will definitely be returning next year.

Will never stay again ! Rude staff that are unwilling to help. after upgrading the room that don’t look nothing like photos . the hotel was very disappointing. Room was dirty. Carpets full of moth infestation . was scare to leave something on the floor . Only good think about the hotel was the location. Breakfast was ok . the staff at Breakfast very friendly.

Dear Kat, Thank you for your review. May I firstly apologise for any disappointment felt during your time with us. Mercure Nottingham City Centre is a 204 year old hotel. All rooms even when comparing two of the same room grade come in various shapes and sizes and indeed decor. I am sincerely very sorry you had seen photos of some of the room type you had booked and therefore were disappointed that one which is not within the photos was allocated to you. I do apologise should the team have seemed unhelpful with this matter, naturally they are unable to allocate you a specific room which you have seen in the photos if the room was already occupied. I do understand from your perspective this may have seemed unhelpful or rude due to the team not being able to assist with this. Your feedback about the the room is well received and we will certainly be addressing any issue found in our up and coming refurbishment throughout the hotel. I will certainly personally inspect this room with my maintenance and housekeeping team to see where any issues which can be fixed pre refurbishment can be scheduled in. I sincerely do apologise for any disappointment felt and do very much hope we can welcome you back in the future so you can experience us at our usual very best. Excellent family room, double bed and two camp like beds for our 15-year-old and 7-year-old, extra camp bed was great value. Top floor, they provided ear plugs in case noisy from the street, but we did not notice anything. Great staff, great location (one tram stop from Nottingham train station) and a fantastic breakfast. We all had a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back next time we stay over. Plus, Nottingham Forest won 7-0, so a great trip over from Dublin.
