The bar tender that worked in the pool bar had no idea what he was doing. You need to train your staff. He was very nice and tried had but he wasn't properly trained. You need to leave water in the rooms daily for your guests to drink and wash their teeth. Someone poured a terrible chemical into my sink to unblock the sink and I had to smell poison in my room all night my last night. Otherwise the staff and the hotel were very good. The concierge at the desk downstairs was unapproachable.

Got used to staying at this Mecure as the location was good and BTS just located beside. For this trip , there was slight hiccup as the room aircon was leaking water when i was able to sleep. End up having to pack up all my stuff and making efforts to shift to the next room. Was shocked that the Staff who came to open the new room stood there looking when i was busy packing my stuff. Normally for such situation , hotel should send a porter with a trolley to assist on the moving. Think the staff need more training on hospitality. For complimentary fruits in the room for members , suggest that they consider changing it to extra welcome drinks instead.

It is very near to the National Stadium BTS station. Travel to other locations in Bangkok is convenient. Room is clean and nice, Minibar will be better if some tidbits are included beside drinks.

I could not fault my stay at Mercure Siam, great location and extremely helpful staff from the front desk, restaurant, lobby bar and also the concierge desk. I was very impressed to receive such great service from all staff so well done! I will be back!

This was my 2nd time stay with Mercure Siam. Everything was good till my check out day, we had earlier requested for late check out during check in and the staff informed this can be arranged but latest by 1pm with no additional cost. We agreed. On our last day, we rushed back around 12pm to do last min packing but our card is unable to access the room. We went to the frontdesk and checked, your front desk staff, Pim gave a expressionless reaction and merely took our card to "reactivate". Once she was done, she also didnt say a single word and just passed back the card. As a frontline service staff, she should have apologised for the inconvenience first, if not at least a smile. And guess what, we went up and again the card didnt work at all. We went down again and i spoke to a different staff, Ammy. At least she look more sincere and helpful, whereas Pim just gave a smirk smile standing one side as if she deliberately cause inconvenience to us and wasted our 15mins!
