£350 per night got an extremely small suite that consisted off cramped bedroom and narrow lounge area with sofa bed. I guess it would suit families but its not fit for business meetings. On the plus side the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable - although no extra pillows available. Reception staff friendly and efficient, as were bar staff. Evening meal was surprisingly good and Victor especially helpful. Breakfast was fine - the usual buffet. Bizarrely the second morning loud music blasted out at around 9.30 - loud enough to do credit to a rock concert. They seemed surprised to be asked to sort it out and it took a while. After that we settled to finish breakfast but the staff took up the baton and scraped chairs loudly over floor (think nails down blackboard) and communicated by shouting across the room. We left, breakfast uneaten. Oh and dont be fooled by the pics of an infinity pool with a lovely view - its clever photography. The pool, very nice too, is in the basement.

Fourth time staying at this particular Novotel and as on previous visits excellent. The room we had (Exec double) very comfortable, plenty of space, well equipped and great bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful and a special shout out to Rodney and his team in the restaurant. His team are well trained, efficient and friendly. Bar staff also a delight being friendly and efficient as well. The hotel is in a great location for us as an easy commute from Paddington Station. There are close by tube stations plus London Bridge and Waterloo Stations are not too far. Location is close to the South Bank and all it offers, and Borough Market and London Bridge area means that is an easy walk from many restaurants and places of interest. Hotel pool and gym, if you are so inclined are a bonus and make you feel less guilty about the breakfast buffet which is very good. Only tiddly complaint and seems petty are that the hash browns texture seemed strange - but I can live with that. Will use again when back in London. Thanks Again to all the Staff

Good stay with some possible improvement

- I asked to receive the invoice via mail- not yet received - selection of juices for breakfast is not up-to-date. Missing detox or water with lemon etc.. - Lunch buffet menù has not the possibility to have a "simple" roasted steak or fish. Everything is with sausages
