Basic but fine room. A but rundown. Mattress setup a little strange - the mattress pad is made up with sheets but not the main mattress so looks like a hostel more than a hotel room.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights. The location is excellent: metro and bus connections to both the airport and the city center are right next to the hotel. It takes about half an hour to reach the city center and just under an hour to get to Heathrow. There are plenty of services, shops, and restaurants nearby, including the huge Westfield shopping center. The hotel offers the reliable, good standard you would expect from an Ibis. Everything worked as it should. A special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is generous and fairly varied, although we would have appreciated more fresh vegetables, fruits, and berries. This isn’t a big issue for a short stay, but on longer trips you start to miss more variety. Due to the central location, there is some street noise, but the sound insulation of the windows was excellent. If you need to keep the window open, for example during hot summer weather, the situation may be different. The rooms do have air conditioning, but we cannot comment on its performance, as our stay took place in early April.
