So back to Hong Kong for my bi-yearly business trips. After hearing from friend that ibis Sheung Wan might had done a renovation from how the entrance looked, decided to book my 20+ days in Hong Kong with them. Landed in one of the rooms near the end of the hall and boy doesn't seem it was maintained at all. Take a look at picture of someone that is really showing you what's in a room compared to those reviews where they only take a shot of the view outside of the window. Even if it was for a short stay, especially with the price they are charging these days, I would reconsider some of the hotels in the same area (there is quite a few). Oh yeah, don't bother paying to join Accor's ALL – Accor Live Limitless, doesn't give you any advantages nor discounts with this hotel. All I got was old, broken room even though I'm a loyal customer of ibis Sheung Wan and the Accor Brand.

Please feel free to contact our staff for a room change as long as there are rooms available to make your stay comfortable. May I share with you that we do have a renovated room from August this year for our guests to consider. Namely “MyRoom- My Residence / Queen Room”, the 17 sqm cozy room features a tasteful blend of soothing colors and soft lighting. The well-equipped amenities include charging ports, a window-side table, large storage space and more will make you feel right at home. You may consider booking this room type available on our official website the next time. The free-of-charge loyalty programme ALL – Accor Live Limitless offers perks and privileges according to membership tiers. When guest books directly with us or via website, from basic members who can enjoy up to 10% discount on room booking, to higher tier members who receive a welcome drink, priority welcome, room upgrade subject to hotel’s availability and more exclusive offers, we value our loyal guests from all around the world, however we are sorry that it was not your impression. Once again, thank you for taking the time to write to us. Front desk service provided by Marco is excellent. I am much appreciated for early check in. Hotel distance from MTR is acceptable. Improvement： lacking of swimming pool is one of the weakest point.

Marco was very welcoming and gave me an early check-in! The location is good for my needs. I was able to take the airport express to the Hong Kong station and walk the last 15 minutes, but it is also nearby other mtr and lots of busses

Warm and excellent check-in service by Marco. Good street view of this area. Ample choices of foods nearby. Nice and clean room and furniture available. Easy booking from Expedia. Good cleaning service. Recommended overall if you want to stay nearby for a while.

来出差，离工作地点很近，房间虽小但也挺实用干净了，早餐有一点单一，但也还可以吧
