Never stayed here before but I was impressed as soon as I walked in. You need a staff member or your room card to get through the second door so great security! Small but lovely clean welcoming reception/bar area, comfy seats as well as tables and chairs. Never had a problem finding a seat when required. Nice Decor! Lady who greeted us was friendly and efficient. Room was lovely, Beatles themed walls! It was very clean and cosy especially coming back from a rainy day! The bed was very comfortable! The only noise from other rooms was the odd toilet flushing upstairs. The bathroom was small but practical, the water was lovely and hot at anytime.. only niggle is the lack of power of the water in the shower. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we have family in Liverpool but we did have drinks from the bar and coffees.. The coffee from the machine is one of the best coffees we’ve ever had!! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone.

So we had no heating in our room. It was absolutely freezing. We went to down to the front desk and told them and they said someone would be up to sort it within 5 minutes. No one ever came. So we went down again to say something after waiting 3 hours. The reception area was like a ghost town and we couldn’t find anyone to ask for some assistance. So not wanting to ruin more of our time we just went out. On return it was still freezing in the room so we gave up in the end and slept in our socks and jumpers…. Customer service at this hotel was absolutely non existent. We also heard 2 other people complain they had no heating in their room. Is this really acceptable in the middle of February?? The night before we stayed at a different hotel in Liverpool and it was a million times better.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m very sorry to read about your experience. A cold room is absolutely not acceptable and I sincerely apologise for the discomfort caused. When you returned to reception, our team member was assisting another guest away from the desk, which unfortunately meant you were unable to locate them immediately — however, we fully understand how frustrating this must have felt, especially after already reporting the issue. We are reviewing what happened that evening with both the team and our maintenance response procedures to understand the delay and ensure we respond much faster in urgent situations like this. We do have staff on site 24/7, and where heating faults occur we normally provide immediate assistance such as portable heaters or a room move where available. It’s clear we fell short on this occasion and for that I’m truly sorry. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity to provide the comfortable stay we are known for. This hotel in a spot that you can get to any were walking ,it’s lovely clean ,warm friendly staff they can not do enough for you ,you also have free hot drinks 247 which you do not get at many other hotels .The breakfast is very healthy fills you up .All the rooms are Beatles based I like strawberry fields in the room you have all you need to be comfortable just thing somewhere to hang your coats would be nice .Di not waste your money and say any were else .
