On the outskirts of the Center of Bordeaux. Small room but quiet. 2* maximum - rooms and public areas in need of modernisation. Feels more Ibis budget than Ibis styles!

Check in/reception/breakfast was fine. Room 125 was horrible. Poor condition, air conditioning not working, Bathroom door doesn't close, damaged door, black mould on bathroom walls ceiling and tiles. Shower flooded bathroom floor. Not a healthy environment to stay in. No matter how old a room or building is there is NO excuse for black mould to this extent. So far the Accor group have given very poor customer service regarding my complaint. I do not recommend using them.

Pros - All staff helpful and friendly, room small but adequate and kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast fairly standard but pleasant with plenty of options. Good value for money in a significant location. Cons - Would have preferred a quieter room away from the noise from outside including late night arguments and trams early morning and late at night. Apart from the allocation of rooms this of course is outside the control of the hotel staff. Slightly concerned to be greeted by a helpful receptionist but who admitted feeling unwell and was not wearing a mask.

Reception/ check in was all ok. Location good. Bedroom small dark with spiderwebs above bed. Bathroom horrific. Black Mould on walls, ceiling and around shower. Shower heads dirty and scaled. Shower flooded on to floors due to drain. Bathroom door didn't shut properly, door had a hole in it and was dirty and scruffy. Overall the room should not have been on sale. No matter how old a building/room is it should never have mould, Staying in this space made me feel dirty and uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not work at all. I have tried contacting Accor directly and still awaiting a response. I will never use Ibis again due to this problem and hope to receive a refund and explanation. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
