Great to see 5 star experience in a place like Vizag

Not worth the price tag

1) no response from Room Service after 15 calls 2) cockroach in morning buffet, staff was not paying attention to sanitation 3) 3 front desk counters and each counter had 3 people and a line of people waiting to be helped 4)there was no email of Hotel manager except they gave me duty manager phone via a small paper … no business card

Overall stay and experience was good. Staff is good but need grooming and need to train well. Food is good rooms are good. Cleanliness is good. Staff serving breakfast are horrible, not trained for the service.

Good Stay

In this trip I traveled with my father. What appealed to me is staff behavior. Each and every staff was attentive with a smile. They took care of our needs very well. Will name few examples, changing my room as I did not like the one offered to me for the view which was my priority and cleanliness(one can't expect a bindi stuck on wooden panel at Novotel atleast.) The housekeeping guy named Ganesh always took care of us with a smile. I would also mention the Square staff were awesome including chef for providing just the kind of food I needed for my elderly father. I would like to stay at this property again.

Very worst staff management. 1st of all they overcharged on my card and unable to refund the balance amount during check out. 2nd we ordered coffee in room and after waiting for 45mins got to know the order is not placed. During check out staffs took almost hour for billing. Treat your staff how to be proffessional. Also as a Accor member i didnt get any benefits.

Tired and needs a revamp

I have been staying with you annually for the last 5 years. It was good the first few times, but the standard has really dropped. Rooms are tired and cleaning standards have not been maintained. Terrible 'damp' smell in my room. Checkin process was pretty chaotic. The staff in the buffet area are friendly and helpful though, they were the one good thing about the visit. However, I will likely stay at a different hotel on my next trip.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! We had booked 7 rooms, among that 3 rooms were early check-in, in-spite of 2 days prior notice, they made us to wait for nearly 3 hours and that dint end there even the next 3 guest faced the same issue as they reached hotel by 3:30, as per the check-in policy you claim check-in is at 3:00, what you served us is your business loss. Food and Restaurant: Not at all happy with restaurant food nor their services, To talk about the Buffet managers they were unmannerly behaved. No still dint end, we were made to call the restaurant back to back after 11:30pm, none had curtesy to let all of know restaurant is closed. Front desk people were forwarding the calls but none were answering. Honestly we were planning for more business and client stay for upcoming events in NOVOTEL for your breathtaking ocean view, however you all screwed it up big time. Please don't call yourself a 5 Star property. We will look for a better property close by.

Services on request was very very slow. Also noticed many staffs lacking experience or are new like trainee but few staff were very good. The main problem was with F&O side. And food was very good.
