THE CONSERVATORY

Each day a delicious hot and cold buffet breakfast is served between 8am to 10am in the manor conservatory. Accor Vacation Club members receive a discount. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at any of the many restaurants in the area.

Beautiful property, large rooms, amazing breakfasts! Staff was so attentive and knowledgeable. All of our questions were answered immediately. We absolutely loved our stay!! Honestly, room, staff, food, grounds were far above our expectations. The room came equipped with everything we needed. Our reservation came with daily breakfasts that were so lovely. We had the most delicious triple cream Brie egg soufflé along with fresh grown mushrooms and spinach for breakfast. The menu had several other delicious options as well! The room was cleaned daily, amenities were fabulous, and they even had a washer and dryer for customer use. If we come back to Margaret River, we will stay here again.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Basildene Manor in Margaret River for one night in their queen room with a small private courtyard. The room was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor, clean sheets, and a great shower. It had a cosy, classy feel overall. While we enjoyed our stay, a couple of things could be improved. The mattress was a little too soft for both me and my husband, and the bedside tables, while elegant, were taller than the bed and had protruding edges that could be a bit hazardous at night—I bumped into one more than once. The manor itself is stunning, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. There’s also a swimming pool and tennis court, perfect for relaxing or staying active. Breakfast was a lovely experience with a variety of options, including à la carte hot eggs made to order. A charming and peaceful place with character—just a few tweaks and it would be perfect!

This is such a beautiful property, with lush well kept gardens. The price was very reasonable considering the place was very central to the Margaret River town centre and easy to get to all the wineries. It was great that there was a pool and tennis court available, although it was too cold for the pool, we played a few games of tennis to keep us active. The TV also had Google chrome connectivity, which was great when we wanted a night in watching movies. A great selection available at breakfast including a cooked breakfast, served in a lovely sun room overlooking the gardens. The staff were very friendly and attentive. This hotel goes above and beyond normal services including placing Easter eggs around the hotel over Easter weekend, providing scones and jam on departure and also having complementary tea and cakes in the afternoon were all lovely extra touches. 10/10 highly recommend!

Good morning As a celebration for our parents 88th & 91th birthday week, we stayed at Basildene Manor for 5 nights. We enjoyed the beautifully presented rooms, gorgeous period manor and gardens. All the staff we helpful and friendly. Thankyou for the special touches of chocolate and a lovely note to wish them a happy birthday. The scones and jam were a wonderful treat on departure. We look forward to returning 🙂
