After a very rough overnight cross-channel ferry ride and long drive from the UK, and despite sleep deprivation and sea-sickness rendering me nearly unable to speak even my own language, I received a very warm welcome from Jonathan on reception who was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease. The room was exactly as I'd hoped; clean, comfortable and calm, and as a bonus had a far reaching panoramic view out to the horizon. The swimming pool is fantastic and was the ideal remedy for my travel woes. I would return to this hotel just to use the pool.
